Passap Double Jacquard Stroller Blanket

I am thinning my files of knitted items and I came across this pattern that I made years ago on the brother machine.  It is in News & Views April 1988. The designer is Sandra Dominiak. I put the design into win/crea and then chose a size to make and added a border. I really like how it came out. I don’t know if it is the design or the soft color. The color is mauve and off white. I am getting into quilting and this reminds me of a quilt block. lol

I have the instructions and the file in bmp, tiff and png format if you would like to try this. The drop box link is below the sock picture . Feel free to open in win/crea or DAK and make it larger or smaller. This stroller blanket is 23 inches wide by 26 inches long.

A little while back I did knit two pairs of slipper socks in CanCun on the Brother 940 for a woman who was recovering from a hip transplant. It was at Easter time that I visited her so I thought I would do Easter colors.

Lovely! Could this be made with a punchcard machine?

    • I think you could use on punchcard machine but would have to make blocks smaller. The width of this design is 36 stitches and 30 rows. Go to the drop box link for the pattern and you can see how to punch a card. You would have large floats on the back but if you did a backing for the afghan it would be okay. Good luck. 🙂
