Alternatives to ribbing on the Passap # 8

This is a tubular band with horizontal rib. It is FNR Tubular cast on. Black Strippers. Then you knit 7 rows of CX/CX and then knit one row of N/N.Just repeat these two steps for depth of band. Now here is where I can get confused. When knitting on the Brother Machines, they always say to knit two rows of CX and count as one row. So on passap, if you do this you will get wider spaces between the design. I did not like it so I just knitted 7 rows according to the counter and this is what I ended up with. I think this is correct. It sort of looks like the pin tuck but it is much different.
